June 14th – Five Rivers Annual Gathering – Wednesday Evening in Concord

Join Five Rivers, along with your conservation friends and neighbors, for a fun evening of food, news, and knowledge. Enjoy refreshments and conversation before the program, including an update of Five Rivers’ land conservation efforts and a presentation to show how you can take action for wildlife.

Emily Preston, a Wildlife Biologist with NH Fish and Game, will introduce the wildlife species that need assistance in the Greater Capital Region. Learn how you can help maintain high-quality habitats for wildlife and enable their movement across the landscape. Most importantly, learn the actions you can take in your community, on your land, and as a member of Five Rivers Conservation Trust.

Emily coordinates partner engagement and implementation of the NH’s Wildlife Action Plan. She helps communities and conservation organizations manage and protect wildlife habitat. She also monitors several state endangered and threatened wildlife species. Emily has a Master’s degree in entomology. She conducted research on the wildlife of vernal pools and streams, as well as a variety of small mammals, birds, and bats. Providing natural history information to the public has been a common thread throughout her career.

More details to come. Space is limited, RSVP is required.

Suggested donation is $5-10 at the event to help cover food and drink.
