Armstrong Forest Preserve Exploration – April 19th

UPDATE: Based on advice that is coming from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the New Hampshire governor’s office, and our colleagues at other land trusts across the country, we are cancelling our in-person exploration of the newly conserved Armstrong Forest Preserve in Concord on April 19th. We are exploring the opportunity to introduce you to this new property via the internet, so please stay tuned.

Original information about this event is shown below. We have removed the registration component.

Explore the natural features of our newest Five Rivers-owned property, the 24-acre Armstrong Forest Preserve. Five Rivers now owns this land , thanks to a gift from Thomas Armstrong and his family, who has owned the property since 1953. Five Rivers will manage the land as a natural area, for the public to observe forest ecology, enjoy educational events, and participate in low-impact recreation. The Armstrong Forest adds to and nearly links the conserved farms on Stickney Hill Road with the large block of St. Paul’s School land.

THANK YOU TO OUR SPONSORS!
