Contoocook River Paddle on August 11th

Join Five Rivers Conservation Trust and the Concord Young Professionals Network (CYPN) for Contoocook River paddling fun! Five Rivers has protected nearly 570 acres along this river route in partnership with private landowners, including over 400 acres at Bohanan Farm, the home of Contoocook Creamery.

On Sunday, August 11th, 2024, bring your own or rent a canoe, paddle board, or kayak from the Contoocook River Canoe Company and join us on the Contoocook River. Contoocook River Canoe Company will shuttle you and your owned or rented watercraft of choice to the launch point nine miles up the river — and you’ll paddle back down! This paddle can take a while– approximately half a day– so please plan accordingly. 

There will be refreshments and live music at the end of your paddle, as well as an opportunity to learn more about Five Rivers Conservation Trust and the conserved properties you’ll pass on the water.

Rental prices range from $35 to $50 before the application of the Five Rivers discount code. 

Shuttles run from Contoocook River Canoe Company at 9:00, 10:30, and 11:30 and the price includes your boat rental. You must select the specific shuttle time you want in the form below and when you reserve your boat rental.
