Upcoming 2025 Winter/Spring Events
We look forward to seeing you at one (or more!) of our upcoming events planned for 2025. Stay tuned for additional information and specific dates and times related to these winter/spring activities.
In February we’re planning another environmental and conservation-themed Trivia Night at Feathered Friend Brewery in Concord. This event will be again open to the public; it generated tremendous enthusiasm last year and we expect our 2025 event to be just as popular!
Look for information about a guided snowshoe walk in March at the Ames Road Forest on Ames Road in Canterbury. This will be the first walk we have planned at this Five Rivers location and it should be a real treat. This 117-acre property features outstanding wetlands, ponds, streams, and forest, and has been managed carefully and thoughtfully by Ned and Jean Therrien since 1980.
In May or early June, local naturalist Linden Rayton will lead a guided birding excursion at the Janeway Conservation Area in Webster. The area is a haven for wildlife – songbirds and hawks, foxes and bears, salamanders, snakes and fish all use the habitat. Linden will be focusing primarily on birds as they arrive here from their wintering grounds.
