Russ is an experienced regulatory attorney, currently serving as the general counsel of an early-stage healthcare startup. A graduate of Harvard College and the University of Pennsylvania Law School, Russ spent much of his legal career in government service. A strong advocate for connecting people with outdoor recreational opportunities, Russ volunteered for many years on a town committee charged with overseeing the design and construction of a local rail trail project.
An avid runner, skier and cyclist, Russ loves being outdoors in all seasons, and can often be found hiking with his dog in the Sweatt Preserve. Russ lives with his wife and two children in Hopkinton, where he is also the assistant coach of the high school Nordic ski team.
