Five Rivers’ Annual Celebration on September 27

Join us for Five Rivers Conservation Trust’s 2026 Annual Celebration on Sunday, September 27, from 1:00-4:00PM, at the beautiful Janeway Conservation Area in Webster. This 477-acre property was generously donated to Five Rivers in 2020 by Harold and Betsy Janeway and provides a wonderful setting to gather and celebrate conservation in our region.

Bring your appetite as we will begin the afternoon with refreshments under the tent, with time to visit with fellow supporters, volunteers, conservation partners, and community members and hear about Five Rivers’ recent conservation work.

Following, Matthias Nevins, consulting forester with Meadowsend Consulting Company, will share an overview of the Janeway Conservation Area forest management plan and discuss how thoughtful forest stewardship can help support long-term conservation goals. Then we will head out in small groups for guided trail walks led by Five Rivers board members, committee members, and volunteers.

Come enjoy an afternoon outdoors, explore the Janeway Conservation Area, and learn more about the conservation and stewardship work made possible by the Five Rivers community. We hope you’ll join us!
