Bob, is a retired Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a thirty-eight-year career in public accounting, including three decades as the owner of his own CPA practice. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Southern NH University.

Since the early nineties, Bob has dedicated his time to various volunteer roles, actively contributing to the community. He has served on numerous Town of Bow boards, been an active member of the Bow Rotary Club, and contributed to SCORE and other nonprofit organizations.

Bob’s commitment to land conservation in the Concord region dates back to 1997 when he became the inaugural treasurer for a local land trust. Over the years, he has taken on various roles within that organization, including president, membership director, and land conservation director. His instrumental efforts played a pivotal role in the town’s acquisition of Nottingcook Forest and the associated conservation easement. Additionally, Bob led the initiative to establish the Nottingcook hiking trails, showcasing his dedication to preserving natural landscapes.

Beyond his volunteer work, Bob’s passion for land protection extends to his personal life. An avid outdoor person, he can frequently be found in his yard tending to his garden or engaged in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, Nordic skiing, or simply savoring the beauty of nature. In addition, Bob and his wife Dorie have hiked in many of our national parks, Canada, Europe, and Nepal.

Bob’s unwavering commitment to both professional excellence and community service, particularly in the realm of land conservation, reflects his enduring passion and dedication.
