Mike Lynch
Concord, NH
Mike is retired after an over 40-year-long career with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) as a District/Resource Conservationist throughout New Hampshire and in Washington County, Maine, where he assisted farmers and forest landowners. He continues to work part-time with NRCS where he provides guidance to new conservationists. Mike graduated from the College of the Holy Cross in 1972, and after some time selling electrical supplies in Boston, changed courses and attended the University of Massachusetts. There, he earned a BS and MS in Forest Hydrology and Soils at the University of Massachusetts. It may have been working on a dairy farm through high school that kindled his respect for farmers and the land.
Mike lives in Concord with his wife, Chisinda, and together they have a grown daughter. He has a goal to bike all of the rail trails in New Hampshire and visit all 50 state capitals with his wife.
